Moss Roses- A Welcome Member of a Country Flower Garden

Moss Rose collage

Moss Roses.  A must-have addition to any country flowerbed.

These lovelies–the higher the temps go the more they just burst with amazingly gorgeous blooms. When your other plants are gasping for mercy and threatening to croak from the sizzling summer heat, these favorites never complain: they just happily do their thing.

And, not only that, they do it with gusto, and with a splendid variety of stunning blossoms for you to enjoy.  Let’s take a look.

Delicate and gorgeous frills of soft pink…fit for royalty!

Tangerine? Oh, give me more of these, please!

Even the simple and clean white is stunning!

Oh, my! Can I eat this one?

Lemony, with a splash of orange….so bright and snappy!

Well, well…let’s add a bit more raspberry flavoring to this one! How fun!

A wonderful, bright and solid hot pink. Ahhhh….

Even a buttery yellow one, with the splash of eye-catching pink! Makes me think it could be a candy!

DO NOT feel sorry for them and give them that “extra” drink of water….trust me, I know. (You will miss their happy little faces.)

Thriving in the heat, with minimal water required, and a daily reward of a wide variety of stunning flowers, WHAT is not to love about the lowly moss rose?!
